Pulcher Datnoides

Datnoides pulcher (Siamese Tigerfish) is one of the most sought-after freshwater predatory fish in the aquarium hobby. Native to the Mekong and Chao Phraya river systems, it is prized for its bold black vertical bars, golden-yellow body, and commanding presence. As it matures, this species develops striking contrast and can reach over 40 cm (16 in) in length. Best suited for large aquariums, Datnoides pulcher thrives in warm, clean water and is an excellent centerpiece fish for experienced keepers.
